Found Object Sessions

Let’s play with creativity.

Creativity thrives on play, newness, and experimentation; Found Object is a place to do just that. Born from years of facilitating the creative process with solopreneurs and makers alike, Meagan has created an offering of personalized and guided mark-making sessions in her shared art studio in Los Angeles, California.

Perfect for those looking to tap into their creative side, these sessions are offered weekly to individuals and small groups.

To:

  • Foster a deeper connection with self

  • Iterate and ideate a product line or start momentum on dormant creative ideas

  • Get unstuck / overcome burnout

  • Offer yourself a creative sabbatical

  • Flex a different creative muscle

  • Create content (use the time and light-filled space to capture the creative process for social media and idea development)

  • Brainstorm and vision board with creative guidance and encouragement

What will we make?

The focus of these sessions is to nurture the magical process of creativity. You may make a beautiful bold print to hang in your home, and you will certainly leave with new inspiration and techniques to apply to your current work.

How does it work?

Following a brief intake, Meagan will curate 2 to 3 projects to open the floodgates of your inherent creativity. We'll play with approachable mediums that invite curiosity, observation, and mindfulness such as mono printing, shadow drawing, and collage. We'll discuss current creative roadblocks and explore areas of interest (color, composition, mediums, and subject matter). You can book a single session or make it a weekly or monthly treat to yourself. Think of it as the weekly "Artists Dates" recommended in the famous book, The Artist's Way.
